* 1980 - born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

* 1997 - studies sculpture at Carnegie Mellon University

* 1998 - receives the 'The American Visions Award' and exhibits

             his 'Self Portrait' at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington D.C.

           - 'Self Portrait' loaned to 'The President's Office of Arts and Humanities'

             Washington D.C.

           - begins enrollment at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Philadelphia

* 1999 - receives 'the Rambourger Award for Drawing'

           - begins exhibiting his work in Philadelphia with fellow Academy artists

* 2000 - shows his first installations at the Academy including 'Kill Yourself'

* 2001 - shows a series of portraits at the Annual Museum Exhibition at the Academy

           - receives the 'Figure Painting Prize' and 'the Angelo Pinto Award for Experimental Work'

* 2002 - graduates from the Pennsylvania Academy

           - receives 'the Henry J. Schiedt Travel Scholarship' and 'The Women's Board Prize'

* 2003 - group exhibition at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts

* 2004 - included in 'Works on Paper' Biannual, Arcadia University, Glenside, Pennsylvania
